heytappr for
ask about “this” and it knows what you mean
copy the text, switch to a chatbot, paste, explain the situation, that dance kills the question. heytappr already sees the screen you're on, so you just ask about it directly.
the screen is the prompt
heytappr reads the current screen as structured text and controls through android's accessibility tree, so pronouns work: "summarize this article", "is this price fair", "reply to this politely". a screenshot goes to openai only when visuals actually matter.
not limited to one viewport
long thread, long doc, long list? heytappr can scroll through the content to gather what's visible along the way before answering, so a summary covers the whole thing, not just the screenful you happened to stop on.
from chat about the screen to acting on it
once it has drafted a reply from the visible thread, agent mode can type and send it, but only when you explicitly ask. discussing the screen and touching the screen stay clearly separated.

questions people ask
- Can it see content in every app?
- Most apps expose their text and controls to Android accessibility, and those work well. Protected screens, such as password fields and some banking views, can block access, and it cannot transcribe video content that is not on screen as text.
- Is my screen being uploaded constantly?
- No. Screen reading happens through the accessibility tree as structured text, and screenshots are sent to OpenAI only when visual context is needed. Raw screenshots are not stored in HeyTappr's own cloud backend.
