heytappr.

heytappr for

the voice assistant your android was missing

switched from iphone and reaching for an assistant that isn't there? heytappr lives in a floating notch above your apps, hears you out, and answers aloud, with the added trick that it can see and operate the screen you're on.

“hey heytappr, summarize this email thread for me”

tap the notch or just say the phrase

the floating notch sits above whatever you're doing. tap it to start a voice turn, or say “hey heytappr” to begin. answers come back spoken in real time, and an optional live mode keeps the conversation open for follow-ups.

it acts across any app that exposes controls

agent mode opens apps, fills fields, and moves between screens through android accessibility, so there's no waiting for developers to add support. secure screens like payment confirmations stay in your hands, the agent doesn't blind-fire consequential actions.

not always listening

unlike a room assistant, heytappr only listens during a voice turn you started, by tapping the notch or in an active live session. sessions end, the mic stops, and both permissions it uses can be revoked in settings whenever you like.

try it on your phone

drop your email, watch the 30-second demo, and grab the app.

How do I install it if it's not in the Play Store flow I expect?
You drop your email on the heytappr.com homepage and get the APK. The project is open source on GitHub, so you can read exactly what you're installing.
