heytappr for
one assistant for every app on the phone
bixby is samsung's take on a phone assistant, woven into their devices. heytappr comes at it from the open side, an app-agnostic agent that works the same way across brands, apps, and launchers, because it operates the ui you can see.
no manufacturer lock-in
heytappr installs as a normal apk on any android phone, samsung or otherwise, and its agent works through the accessibility tree rather than device-specific hooks. switch phones and your assistant comes with you.
watch it work, stop it anytime
every action the agent takes happens visibly on your screen, tap by tap. if it heads somewhere you didn't intend, interrupt it mid-flow. payments and submissions are always left for your review rather than fired automatically.
it pipes up when a screen looks like work
open a portfolio, a form, or a dense document and heytappr figures out on its own how it might help, then makes one quiet offer. cooldowns and quiet hours keep it from becoming the assistant you want to uninstall.
try it on your phone
drop your email, watch the 30-second demo, and grab the app.

questions people ask
- Will HeyTappr replace the Bixby button behavior on my Samsung?
- HeyTappr doesn't remap hardware buttons. Instead it lives in a floating notch above your apps, which you tap to start a voice turn, and you can also say "hey heytappr" to begin.
- Does it work with Samsung's own apps?
- Generally yes, because it operates whatever controls an app exposes to Android accessibility. Protected screens, like password fields or some banking flows, may block access, and HeyTappr pauses itself automatically when you open a payment app.
